A BIG thank you to the parents and other family members of our children who came to the Zoo with us last Wednesday. We had a FANTASTIC day even though the weather did everything it could to deter us!!
Next Tuesday we are again walking to Wangi Library after recess. As always, you are welcome to walk with us. Your child will need to bring their library card and a bag if they wish to borrow books, games or DVDs.
As the weather begins to heat up please ensure your child has water to drink and a hat. The NO HAT, NO PLAY rule is strictly enforced.
For children beginning school in 2009 and their parents will be Tuesday 11/11/08 at 9:30am in the hall.
What a great day at the Zoo Year 1! Thank you to the wonderful parents who came and helped on the day. Thankyou to the children who had wonderful manners both at the Zoo and on the bus. We will be walking to the Library on Tuesday 18th November. You are welcome to join us. Keep up the consistent effort with Homework and Home reading.
We have only one more visit to the local library on Tuesday 25th November. Please return any library books on this day.
Although it rained during our excursion to the Zoo we still had a great day.

As I got closer to the petrifying jump I was hoping that I could make it. The adrenalin was giving me goose bumps as my front tyre started going up the huge jump. My heart stopped my breath wasn’t there. I tried to breathe but nothing came out. It felt like there were bowling balls in my throat, agh.
Year 5/6 Canberra Rebate: Please complete these forms ASAP so the office can complete documentation. If you have mislaid it, parents will need to visit the office staff to complete and sign a form.
MYUNA BAY CELEBRATION DAY 2008 - make sure you have received the early-bird note. Bus and entry $7. Swimming note MUST be completed.
All dance groups and the senior Choir will be involved in the Eastlakes Cultural Festival. This is being held at the Griffith Duncan Theatre on Monday 10th November. Children will be participating in the afternoon session from 12:30 till 2:30.
Parents are welcome to attend. A $3 entry fee will be payable at the door. Parking fees at the Uni will also apply
